Q. How long does it take to have a picture ready for my site or client?A. Most pictures are made up of two photographs, and are then superimposed onto each other to remove poor lighting, both shots are taken from the same place, the only adjustments made are camera settings. Once the pictures are taken, these are then processed with the software and the programming is written to “drive” the picture. Once this is done, the picture is ready for use. Most pictures are supplied 24 hours after being taken, at most 48 hours. Q. How do I put the picture on my site?
A. As a matter of course, we supply the finished picture as a clickable link, and as HTML code. The link can be very simply pasted into your site or into e-mails as necessary, (you would need to click on the link to see the picture) If you want the picture to appear automatically within your site, you simply paste in the HTML code where you would normally put your still picture, and upload the jpeg files as usual. If you have a programmer or website designer, they are more than welcome to add their own code as required. Q. How can I send a picture to a client?
A. At present, the picture can be sent as a normal web link which the client can click on and a new window will open and the picture will run. In the future we will be able to supply them as an executable file, and be able to format for dvd usage. Q. What about the space on my server for these larger pictures?A. Panorama-it hosts all its clients pictures free of charge. This way there is no excess demand on your server or host if you are running close to capacity at any point. Q. Is it possible to edit out parts of the image to avoid copyright infringement etc?A. Yes this is possible, we can edit out any parts of the image not required, or it is possible just to show a smaller portion of the total image. (i.e. only 90 or 180 degrees etc.) Q. What are the limitations of what can be photographed?A. With the pictures being taken using still photography, in poor lighting the surroundings need to be still, otherwise superimposing the multiple images to compensate for the lighting will be impaired. Outdoor pictures in good light that only require one shot (i.e. golf courses), can accommodate some movement. Q. Can these pictures be printed?A. Yes and no, stills can easily be extracted from them, and the picture can be paused with the controls to show a fixed image. The image as a whole, although you can print it, it would look distorted Q. Who owns the copyright on the picture?A. Panorama-it retains copyright on all pictures taken at all times. Quotations for your own marketing pictures for sole use are available upon request. Q. I have a question that isn’t answered here.A. Please contact us with your query, we will respond within 24 hours. |
